Both are popular directories of wholesalers (read this Worldwide Brands review for an in depth analysis) and both have many satisfied customers, but are Worldwide Brands and Salehoo equally good value for money?
Worldwide Brands is a directory of about 8,500 suppliers – including wholesalers, drop shippers and manufacturers. All of them have been researched and are guaranteed to be reliable (they are referred to as 'certified suppliers'), which reduces the risk associated with buying from wholesalers and especially drop shippers.
Membership to Worldwide Brands costs $249, but there are no annual or extra fees to pay. As well as access to their database of certified suppliers, this includes access to the Worldwide Brands market research tool, forums and support.
Salehoo is similar – it's a directory of certified suppliers with similar extras as well, but it costs $67 per year rather than $249 (once). This makes Salehoo initially cheaper, but more expensive in the long term – although it takes four years for Worldwide Brands to work out cheaper.
The key difference between Salehoo and Worldwide Brands is the number of products though. While Salehoo has more than 2.5 million products that are available to search through and buy online, Worldwide Brands has 16,000,000 – many more than Salehoo. This potentially makes Worldwide Brands better value for money, but Salehoo is still a good directory.
